Review: Project Runway Season 9 - Episode 3

In this challenge the designers were in teams of two - the have to create looks larger than life. Their creations will be worn by professional stilt walkers in an first ever outdoor runway walk.

Top 3:

Laura and Anthony were a team and this is the dress they created... It is a beautifully made dress but someone has obviously been taking notes from the Gucci Fall 2011 collection! This is a bad version of one of the many beautiful dresses in the Gucci collection.. This is Project Runway if its not original - then what are you doing?? It just makes me upset that they didnt create something original! Nina commented on the dress being close to not being original but they just had to be carefull!! If the dress didnt look like the Gucci collection i would've loved it!

Kimberly and Becky made this look - Kimberly did the pants and Becky did the jacket?! I love the pants they have a pretty color and are made perfectly.. the jacket not so much maybe it is because it has one sleeve i dont know but i am not loving it!

Cecillia and Danielle - let me start with i love how they made this whole look out of chiffon - pants and blouse .. Everyone knows chiffon is a hard fabric to work with! But the clothes are beautiful but the styling - oh dear god what were they thinking?? That hair is just blinding me - the front of it where there is only a little bit of hair on the face all around is just hideous!

Bottom 3:

Fallene and Bryce - a team of bad and worse ... like heidi said they gave them: the Black Swan! But sadly not a pretty version - there is nothing interesting going on her i thought as they were making the look it was going to be good .. i loved the skirt to begin with but as they went on i started to hate the whole thing! This is just not cute in any way - Period!

Bert and Victor - a team who just dont know how to work together.. clearly they dont know how to pick their fabric - the bottom is just killing me.. i kinda like the top of it but then how they put it all together just killed every tiny possibility of my liking this look!!

Julie and Joshua - I've said before that Joshua could be one of my favorites and he is but here i am so mad he let Julie kinda take the lead and make this horrific look! the print of the pants are just disturbing and that top is just .. i cant even find a word for it! let me just say i am hurt that Joshua was a part of this look!
